“Dope” is from BTS’s third mini album, “The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Part 1.” The song was well-received for its hip-hop genre and powerful choreography. The song is continuing to work its magic and increase in viewer counts despite having been released in April of 2015.
The choice of costumes for the music video also garnered interest. The members wore different clothes for different occupations such as a police officer, a race car driver, corporate worker, and more. The song blew up for its synchronized choreography and its catchy melody.
Since the release of the music video, reaction videos of the music video has gone viral, leading more to stumble upon the discovery of BTS. The group’s music video scored their first ever 1 million views soon after, in October of 2016.
