As of February 9th, 4:37 pm, the group’s earlier music video “Dope”, has accumulated a total of 700,136,802 views. This marks the group’s 9th music video to have done so.

“Dope” is from BTS’s third mini album, “The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Part 1.” The song was well-received for its hip-hop genre and powerful choreography. The song is continuing to work its magic and increase in viewer counts despite having been released in April of 2015.

The choice of costumes for the music video also garnered interest. The members wore different clothes for different occupations such as a police officer, a race car driver, corporate worker, and more. The song blew up for its synchronized choreography and its catchy melody.

Since the release of the music video, reaction videos of the music video has gone viral, leading more to stumble upon the discovery of BTS. The group’s music video scored their first ever 1 million views soon after, in October of 2016.

“Mic Drop” was viewed a total of 1.1 billion times, “Fake Love” at 1 billion, “Idol” with 1 billion, “Blood Sweat and Tears” coming in with 841 million, “Fire” at 722 million, “Save Me” at 644 million, and “Butter” with 690 million views.

“Not Today” sits at 525 million views so far, “Spring Day” at 465 million, “On” at 449 million, “Life Goes On” with 430 million, “Permission To Dance” at 434 million, “Boy In Luv” accumulated a total of 397 million, and “Black Swan” at 364 million views.

Some of the group’s earlier songs such as “War of Hormones”, “I Need You”, and their more recent song such as “On”, “No More Dream” and “Dynamite (choreography)” also garnered 2 million views.
