Vernon is thinking real hard about something.

"My favorite version is.."

Vernon was at a loss for words.

"My favorite song is."

That's a reasonably difficult question to answer. The boys recently came back with their recent album. Seventeen had practiced endlessly for five months for the birth of "You Make My Day." The album alone sold a total of 270,000 copies.

They also reached an international fanbase. The group rose to the #1 spot on the iTunes chart in countries such as Australia, Canada, Germany, Spain, Singapore, Russia, U.S.,UK, Denmark, Japan and more.

That's why it's only logical for all of the songs in the album to be his favorite. In order to communicate with their international fans, Vernon had come to shoot a small segment with us. Our reporter at Dispatch, Sarah, interviewed Vernon during the unboxing segment.

Sarah : Hi, my name is Sarah. I'm here to interview yet another Pledis artist. Can you introduce yourself to your fans before we begin the interview?

Vernon : Hi, this is Seventeen's Vernon. I'm 17 years old, and i'm here to be interviewed by Dispatch.

Sarah : Should we talk a little about the album? Seventeen has returned after 5 months. The group released an album back in February called, "Director's Cut." You're back not too long after to greet your fans once again. How do you feel?

Vernon : We were honestly waiting to be back again, soon. (laughs)

Sarah : I see. Then should we jump into the unboxing of the album?

Vernon : We have three different kinds of our album. We have the "Meet" version (white colored), "Follow" (pink), and the "Set the Sun" version (purple). Shall we open and see?

Sarah : Two cards are included in the album

Vernon : That's right, a total of two pictures are included in every album. The color of the sunlight is a significant part of our album. Sunlight is casted onto the faces of the members. It's the meeting of Seventeen and the sunlight.

Sarah: Oh, interesting. That makes me curious about the "Follow" version. Does the sunlight follow you guys over there as well?

Vernon : Yes, it does!

Sarah : Oh wow, really?

Vernon : Yes, all three of the albums are linked together, to create a story.

Sarah : I especially like the picture on the album. Wow, the pictures are moving. The members' eyes open and close.

Vernon : Yes, do they call these pictures, holograms? I forget what they're called in Korean. As you can see, we're at the countryside.

Sarah : The pictures differ depending on the album. Were you able to take all the pictures in one day?

Vernon : . No, I think it takes about three days when we're gearing up for an album. The next version is the "Set the Sun" one. As you can see, it also has a hologram picture in it. Although it took a while, it was a fun experience. The last one includes a party with all of the members.

Sarah : That sounds like it must've taken a while. You claim that the pictures were all taken on different days. How long did it take for the group to get their pictures taken?

Vernon : The "Meet" version didn't take too long. I don't exactly remember for the "Follow" version, but I think it was a few hours. I do know that it took longer than the "Meet" one though. Th "Set the Sun" version took a really long time though. We filmed the whole day for that one. It was because we had to have a few in the morning and at night.

Sarah : Which one is your favorite version?

Vernon : I'm not quite sure which one is my favorite.

Sarah : You're observing each of the albums. (laughs) All three albums are great.

Vernon : That's true. The pictures are phenomenal. A very skilled photographer had helped us achieve this. But if I had to choose, the "Meet" version would be my favorite. That specific one includes my hologram picture.

Sarah : It does. Can you slightly move and show the picture to your fans?

Vernon : When you move, the sunlight is casted onto me.

Sarah : Let's move on to the next question. Is there anything you remember during the filming of your music video or the shooting of your pictures?

Vernon : There was a scene in which we swam in a swimming pool during the "Set the Sun" version. After we were done with the shoot, the members and I continued to play in the pool. We pushed one another in the pool and got soaking wet.

Sarah : Haha, do we have any pictures of that day?

Vernon : The members are already in the pool in the last picture, in the "Set the Sun" album.

Sarah : Is Vernon also in the pool?

Vernon : Yes, I'm somewhere in the middle.

Sarah : You are. Are you in there because someone pushed you?

Vernon : No, I went in there myself. I had to. (laughs) It was a bit chilly. But it was still fun.

Vernon : You can even take out the hologram pictures.

Sarah : This moves too. What are you doing in the picture?

Vernon : (We) are pretending to read a magazine (laughs)

Sarah : That's cute. There are pictures in every album, right?

Vernon : Yes, if you want, you can even replace the pictures. Like I mentioned before, the pictures are all different in every album.

Sarah : Is there anything else that the fans might like to know?

Vernon : There's a scene in the music video when I am brought up from the ground by a UFO. It was the first time I ever worked with wires. It was fun. It reminded me of the Matrix.

Sarah : Let's talk a little about the song, "Oh My!" The song goes great with the summer atmosphere. Can you explain the song to us?

Vernon : It is a very summery song. The song reminds our fans of our debut days. I think it's very refreshing and sweet.

Sarah : The point of the choreography to the song is the "arrow" dance. Can you show us a little sneak peak?

Vernon : It's a cute, arrow dance. We call it the "Oh My dance."

Sarah : How long did it take you guys to practice?

Vernon: It took us around a month.

Sarah : Were there times when it became too hard? The group has a total of thirteen membrs.

Vernon : I'm used to dancing in a group of thirteen now. There isn't really anyhting difficult to it. It went a lot better than I had expected. It's fun when we're learning the dnce all together.

Sarah : There are a total of six songs, including the title track. Which song do you like best?

Vernon : My personal favorite is "Oh My!" All the other members chose this as well.

Sarah : What do you do in your free time?

Vernon : It's mainly just meals with my dad. Meal time is usually our free time. We're busy now though because we're in the midst of promotions.

Sarah : What do you do when you have a bit more time on your hands?

Vernon : I'm usually in the studio, or watch movies.

Sarah : It's been three years since you debuted! Seventeen is gaining international stardom. What do you think made this possible?

Vernon : I'm not too sure. (laughs) I'm not entirely sure but I do know that it's highly important to stay strong together, as a group.

Sarah :Lastly, do you have anything you'd like to say to your fans, "carats?"

Vernon : I hope we get the opportunity to express the gratitude we have for our fans. Thank you for the love and support.
