“Loves”, cheer to your heart’s content for the debut anniversary of NU’EST. As of March 15th, the boys officially became veterans of seven years. In order to commemorate them on their debut, “Dispatch” and NU’EST sought an event to make it all the more memorable.
The weather seemed to celebrate the day along with us. The day was exceptionally nice, with the addition of the warmth and the absence of the cold. Here at “Dispatch”, we prepared a fun game for the boys as a surprise for their fans. We weren’t going to not celebrate the day without a little competition.
The members surprisingly took the games very seriously. As soon as it started, their gazes were filled with the desire to win. We had a present in store as an exchange for a win, and they all fought equally hard.

This is the leisure that follows after seven years in the industry.

Now it’s time for the start of the competition. The first game they were to compete in were Hula Hoops. We have arranged it in the form of a tournament.
The instructions went as followed: A game of “Rock, Paper, Scissors” was played to determine a winner who will be exempt from a game of “Hula Hoops.” Baekho was hailed winner of “Rock, Paper, Scissors”, allowing him to sit out. JR, Aron, Minhyun, and Ren were set to compete.
"I’m coming for you, Ren." (Minhyun)
"You asked for it!" (Ren)
As Ren “Hula hooped” all the way to Minhyun,
Nobody uttered a word. He was unstoppable.
Is this the start of Ren’s reign?
A surprising figure makes an appearance. Despite his exemption, Baekho objects! The “White Tiger” advances.
And that was the end of Ren’s short lived, three second reign.
His tactics, which resembled a dreidel, was proven to be ineffective.
But Ren is quick on his feet and alert! And he isn’t one to surrender.
"I’ll show you a trick, give me a chance.” (Ren)
However,
Some things can’t always go our way... despite our ambitions.
↓After the opening ceremony, the boys played a round of Hula Hoops and a winner had been named. ↓
The boys were in a state of bliss from being out after their busy promotions. Minhyun especially seemed hopeful on taking pictures of the day with his fellow bandmates.
It’s a good thing we had a separate picture competition. The boys were to take pictures in accordance with our mission cards, but JR had an idea worth trying. The model for the evening was declared as Minhyun. The members each get a turn to be chosen as “best photographer” based off of the pictures they take of Minhyun. Each player is only allowed a total of three pictures.

The genre is fantasy.

"Are you ready for this, director Kwak?" (Minhyun)
"Maintain eye contact" (Aron)
Why does this only happen to Ren? He had attempted a good shot of Minhyun but was ultimately, deemed illegible to qualify for the finals. He had gone beyond the three pictures mark and ended up with a total of nineteen. At least, we believe, his intentions meant well.
"No! no! it can’t be" (Ren)
But the members were firm on their decision.
"Yeah, nope. You are disqualified."
And the best picture according to model Hwang is…
photographer Kwak (Aron) and the “Wink on a summer day.”
↓The style in which the boys photographed their model were all vastly different. The poses and the demands give off an idea of how the boys had intended Minhyun to look. Regardless of the winner and Ren’s disqualification, we think they’re all worth a save in your phone. Go ahead if you haven’t! ↓
Lastly, we arrive at the highlight of it all; the “chips eating” competition. The rules are simple, wear the hat (the one above in the picture) and succeed in eating a dangling chip from the strings without the use of hands.
Curiosity got the best of wartortle

Aron was unsuccessful too.
"Just come a little closer please!" (Aron)
Minhyun also tries his luck.
"I’m trying not to get distracted but the marshmallow is sort of cute" (Minhyun)
And Ren joins in on the game!
"It’s harder than I thought it’d be." (Ren)
Baekho’s attempt looked hopeful, and
"What? It’s so easy…" (Baekho)
White tiger wins a total of three medals.
↓You just witnessed the birth of a “game king”. From his titles as “genius composer”, to “genius producer”, we can now add another to his long list of labels.↓
The games came to an end. The winner, to no one’s surprise, is Baekho. Coming in at 2nd place is photographer Aron. Third place was determined with another round of “Rock, Paper, Scissors” between JR, Minhyun, and Ren.
And the reason why the members were so ambitious was because of
food!
"Rib-eye steak for 1st place.” (1st place, Baekho)
"Pork steak for the runner up." (2nd place, Aron)
"Rotisserie herb chicken for bronze." (3rd place, Minhyun)
"Beef spicy stew for fourth" (4th place, JR)

↓The members expressed their feelings of contentment with the event for the day. As Minhyun stated “Dispatch is on another level.” Hopefully, you all agree. ↓
As all good things must come to an end,
So must this event for NU’EST’s 7th year anniversary.
It felt like we went back in time to the days of our childhood. We were busy with promotions and preparations for the new album but we were able to fully relax for a day. It was fun being able to play games with the members and I wish we would get another opportunity to relive this again in the future." (Nu'est)
The boys of NU’EST are back with their album, “Happily Ever After”. The comeback comes after a three-year hiatus from the group as a whole. They are now actively promoting as a whole and their new title track “Bet Bet” shows a sexier side to the boys. The choreography and overall concept to the recent comeback erupted explosive responses from fans.
