NCT127 are on their way to success in the states!
On October 8th, 2018, NCT127 guest starred on Jimmy Kimmel live. The show first made its debut in 2003 and is arguably one of the most popular shows on ABC.
They performed their song “Regular” (ENG Ver.) for the first time. The boys arrived in Burgundy colored suits for the big day. They sang and danced to the Latin trap genre and showcased their signature powerful, synchronized dance moves.
NCT127 is not yet fully recognized in the U.S. but they are starting to cumulate interest. However, their fans knew the lyrics to “Cherry Bomb” and “Fire Truck” by heart. The crowd sang along with the boys from the top of their lungs.
The LA locals around the area were said to have been startled by the sudden uproar. David (33), works at a studio nearby and rushed to see the cause of commotion. “Their popularity is something else!”, he exclaimed.
Their U.S. promotions were an indicator of their rise to fame. They were invited to present on ABC’s Mickey's 90th Spectacular. One thing was clear: The boys were on a steady rise.
NCT127 was even profiled by Apple Music for their Up Next Spotlight Series. The series is a program from Apple Music to recognize talents from around the world.
Leader Taeyong had this to say about the opportunities, “I think it’s amazing to even be able to promote in the U.S., this was all possible because of our fans. I look forward to meeting you all again soon”.
That isn’t all. The boys of NCT127 were also present at the 2018 AMAs (American Music Awards). They are set to walk the red carpet on the 9th at the AMAs, taking place at Microsoft theater.
NCT 127 are receiving countless calls from representatives in America. The boys are also expected to perform on big entertainment networks such as Good Day LA, NBC’s Access Hollywood, and E! News.
