It’s no surprise that BTS dominates in a lot of areas. However, this recent domination of tickets have caused a stir in the community.
BTS opened its doors for the purchase of the tickets to their upcoming domestic concert in Seoul, “Permission to Dance on Stage-Seoul.” The tickets were open for purchase from February 4th at 8:00 pm, to fan club members first.
Within release, all seats have been purchased, leaving no seats unoccupied. Fans that are not members of the fan club are anxiously awaiting seats that have been canceled. The tickets sold out immediately upon opening, like their previous concerts in the U.S.
Fans have expressed frustration online and many have taken to their personal, social media accounts to recount their own stories of their unsuccessful attempts. The site was said to have a waiting list of over 20,000.
BTS is set to hold domestic, in-person concerts from March 10th to the 13th at the Jamsil Sports Complex in Seoul. The concerts in Seoul comes as a first after two years.
However, disappointment was expressed with the number of fans in the concert. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has issued a maximum number of 15,000 people in one arena. An Olympic stadium is allowed to hold a total of 65,000 people, making a difference of 22.9%.
BTS are also set to hold in-person concerts, “BTS Permission to Dance on Stage- Las Vegas”, from April 8th-9th and April 15th to the 16th at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
