A Backstory and Interview on BTS Jin's 'Super Tuna'
by. Sumin Song

“There’s nothing spectacular about it. If it’s something the fans will like, we try it out at first and see.” (Jin)

BTS’s Jin reveals the backstory on the birth of “Super Tuna.” Jin once again expresses his love for his fans.

Big Hit Music uploaded a short article, titled “Jin throws a worldwide feast with Super Tuna.” The label then attempts to reveal the story behind the song and an interview for the idol’s most inner thoughts.

“Super Tuna” is a song produced by Jin and singer/songwriter Bumzu last year, around the time of the idol’s birthday. The track was made with Jin’s love for fishing.

Jin revealed, “I had initially wanted to make a fishing song but there was a part of me that used that idea as an excuse to go fishing with Bumzu.”

The idol further commented, “I had told the people at my company that I think it’d be great for content if Bumzu and I went fishing together, and so that’s how we ended up fishing.”

The song was in fact, however, made when the two went fishing. The two friends talked over ideas until finally they had made “Super Tuna.” “Super Tuna” was made within a mere five minutes.

The track was made through like much of their work, an excitement towards the fans’ reactions. Jin remarked, “I made the song while thinking of my fans and how much they’d laugh when they see this. I hoped it would bring them laughter.”

Jin was sure his fans would enjoy the thoughtful gift and exclaimed, “And so I concluded that it’s fine because they’ll like it. I enjoyed watching how much my fans had liked it. It was fun for me too and I;m satisfied in turn.”

Bumzu also revealed, “Jin is someone who just possesses his love for his fans. It’s in within him, in his skin. Every topic of discussion that we’ve had after we had worked on a song together, was about the fans.”

Jin concludes the article with feelings of gratitude, “There’s nothing spectacular about it. If it’s something the fans will like, we try it out at first and see.”
