"Vigilante" is a webtoon made by writer Kim Gyu Sam. The story speaks on criminals who face light sentences in comparison to the crimes they committed.

Nam Joo Hyuk was offered the role of a dark hero, Kim Ji Yong. Ji Yong painfully lost his mother as a child at the hands of a gang. The character pursues a career in the police department in search of his mother's killer. Ji Yong spends his weekends projecting the pain from his childhood onto criminals.

People are anticipating the transition in character. Nam Joo Hyuk was recently praised for his role in the hit tvN drama, "Twenty Five Twenty One." If Nam Joo Hyuk accepts the role, he will play a dark hero in search for justice.

"Vigilante" is currently considering platforms to premiere the series.
