"We will put in the effort to prevent this from happening again."
Kyungbok high school had issued another apology after receiving backlash for its previous letter. The school had apologized for causing damage to Aespa's name after the group found themselves to be victims of sexual harrasment.
The school claimed, "We had tried to keep things under control but a few students had acted inappropriately. The same students then posted videos and pictures online with texts that were aimed at Aespa."
"We will have the whole school learn proper performance etiquette, online etiquette, and provide education on sexual harassment."
Aespa was recently invited to perform at the high school for a festival. Students had uploaded pictures of the girls online. The members clearly looked uncomfortable as they had little to no personal space in the photos.
The girl group was treated poorly throughout their time at the school. Students also posted the images and videos of the group and made sexual remarks such as "I did everything but touch them." Four students that day also made their way to the stage to ask for pictures.
The issue sparked outrage among the public. The school's reaction and apology letter had caused the people to react with rage even more.
The school was embroiled in controversy after claiming that the students were of other students from another school. People have found them to be irresponsible. The school deleted the previous letter to issue a new one.
