JYP Entertainment released the track list for Nayeon’s debut solo mini album ‘IM NAYEON’, on May 31st.
Nayeon, who is a member of girl group Twice, has named her first solo album after her own name Nayeon Lim. The album’s name is a word play for her surname ‘Lim’ which is pronounced ‘im’ in Korean, hence ‘IM NAYEON’ is her full name in Korean at the same time ‘I’M NAYEON.’
Her debut single is titled ‘POP!’. The melody is catchy, addictive and powerful and has had inputs from Kenzie, LDN Noise and Lee Seu Ran.
The tracklist is packed with 7 new songs, including ‘POP!’, ‘No Problem’, ‘Love Countdown’, ‘All Or Nothing’, ‘Candyfloss’, ‘Happy Birthday To You’ and ‘Only The Sunset Is Pretty’ (literally translated).
The line-up of featuring is also another level, proudly presenting Felix from Stray Kids and Wonstein. British DJ Shift K3y, Hit-maker Ear Attack and Producing Team Stereotypes also made their inputs for producing Nayeon’s first solo album.
It is a new chapter for Nayeon as her solo debut is the first in seven years since her group debut as Twice back in 2015 October. It is particularly more meaningful as she has written lyrics for ‘All Or Nothing’ and ‘Love Countdown.’
The album will be dropping charts at 13:00 (KST) on June 24th.
