Girl group aespa has been showing off their firepower even before their official comeback. Their upcoming album has already surpassed one million sales for pre-orders.
SM Entertainment opened up pre-orders for aespa's second mini album 'Girls' on June 2nd. According to the agency, this album exceeded selling one million copies for pre-orders within just one week.
Following on from three mega hits, they are aiming for another hit this time to make it four consecutive hits. Aespa made a strong debut with 'Black Mamba' in November 2020, and shortly after, they released 'Next Level' and 'Savage', establishing themselves as a representative K-pop girl group.
Global activities are also expected to pan out. Recently, aespa have made a global partnership with the world-famous music label 'Warner Records'. In April this year, they made a grand appearance performing at Coachella, which is the largest outdoor music festival in the US.
Aespa will release an English single 'Life's Too Short' on June 24th. 'Girls' will be released simultaneously in Korea and the US on the 8th of next month.
