Actor Jung Hae-in has been asked for a new character in the movie 'Veteran 2' (director Ryoo Seung-wan).
'FNC Entertainment' said in a phone call with 'Dispatch' on the 5th, "Jung Hae-in has received an offer for 'Veteran 2', and it is still in the review stage."
If Jung Hae-in confirms the appearance, he will be in charge of the character who succeeds Yoo Ah-in (Jo Tae-oh) in the previous part. Filming will take place in the second half of this year.
‘Veteran’ (2015) is an action movie for crime entertainment. It depicts the activity of a veteran wide-area investigative team chasing the third-generation wealthy family member Jo Tae-oh.
Hwang Jung-min plays Seo Do-cheol, an activist at the investigation team. It recorded 13.41 million cumulative audiences thanks to the exhilarating action and the actors' crisp performances.
It is produced as a season 2 after 7 years. Director Ryoo Seung-wan once again directing the movie. Hwang Jung-min, the protagonist of the first part, also decided to join forces.
Earlier, CEO Kang Hye-jeong of the film company RnK also mentioned that at the 58th Baeksang Arts Awards ceremony in May, "I plan to shoot 'Veteran 2' this year."
Meanwhile, Jung Hae-in is filming season 2 of Netflix's new series 'D.P.'.
