K-pop star Jessi has revealed that she will be taking a break as she leaves P Nation. She posted on her Instagram earlier today “I understand people can make assumptions right now based on my current situation… but the truth shall reveal itself in a matter of time.”
She added, “Respectfully please give me some time to collect my thoughts and breathe a bit as I haven’t rested since 2005.” She also emphasizes that she will “not be retiring.”
Jessi finished her post by thanking her forever fans Jebbies for their unconditional love and support, and included a commented to say she loved P Nation for life.
Jessi is the first artist to have joined P Nation, which is an agency founded by global star Psy. Since 2019, with Psy, Jessi created several mega-hit songs such as 'Nunu Nana', 'What type of X', and 'Zoom.’
On July 6th, P Nation announced the termination of the exclusive contract with Jessi, alongside the words "we will continue to support Jessi in various ways.”
Since the announcement, there have been many speculations among fans as to why Jessi is leaving the company. However, Jessi personally dismissed the matter herself on Instagram and clarified that she wanted to take a break.
