SBS-TV's new Friday-Saturday K-drama 'Today's Webtoon' (screenplay by Jo Ye-Rang and Lee Jae-Eun, directed by Jo Su-Won and Kim Young-Hwan) released still cuts earlier today.
Starring Kim Se-Jeong (as On Ma-Eum) and Nam Yoon-Su (as Goo Jun-Young) as co-workers, the drama tells the story of the two newbies at work, struggling to adjust to the new working environment.
The two characters are complete opposites from background to personality and values. Goo Jun-Young is a young hardworking man with an elite background. On the other hand, On Ma-Eum is an ordinary girl with a bright and positive personality. How the two of them will push and pull each other to become the most recognized newbies at work is to unfold in the drama.
Kim Se-Jeong said, “They are so different the viewers will love them.” Nam Yoon-Su added, “I would say I can give only 70 points for the chemistry between the two characters. I will leave 30 points for the viewers to keep watching to find out until the drama finishes.”
'Today's Webtoon' captures the dynamic office life of the webtoon industry. It depicts the growth of character On Ma-Eum, a new webtoon editor who was formerly a judo player.
Producer Jo Su-Won of 'I Can Hear Your Voice' and 'Pinocchio' is in charge of directing. The first broadcast will be on July 29th at 22:00 (KST).
