On August 1st, SM Entertainment announced to the fan community of NCT the following:
"Mark, Jaehyun, and Johnny were tested positive for Covid-19 last week and are currently in isolation. Although they rested at home for seven days, to this day, they are still being tested positive, meaning they will not be able to participate for the Japanese schedule ahead.”
An official added, “the event in Japan will be held with the following six members: Taeil, Taeyong, Doyoung, Yuta, Jungwoo and Haechan. We ask for your kind understanding and apologize for any inconvenience caused.”
The boy group are scheduled to hold a fan meeting with Japanese fans at Saitama Super Arena, Japan, from August 2nd to 3rd, however Mark, Jaehyun and Johnny were inevitably unable to leave the country. Hence, the fan meeting will continue without the three members.
