On August 18th, Ha Sung-Woon’s agency Big Planet Made shared an official press release announcing that the artist would enlist as an active-duty soldier on September 5th.

The place and time of enlistment will be kept private and there will also be no separate official procedures.

The agency said, "To prevent the spread of COVID-19 and respect our artist’s wishes to enlist quietly, the time and location of the enlistment will be kept private.” They also added, “We ask for continued warm attention and support for Ha Sung-Woon who will faithfully fulfill his military duty and return with an even healthier and matured image.”

Before his enlistment, Ha Sung-Woon will release his 7th mini-album 'Strange World' on August 24th at 18:00 (KST). The new album includes five songs in various genres, including the title track 'Focus.'
