On October 12th, the list of nominees for the ‘2022 MTV Europe Music Awards (EMA)’ was announced. BTS was nominated for three awards including: 'Best K-Pop', 'Biggest Fans' and 'Best Metaverse Performance.’
BTS hopes to claim another award at this year’s MTV EMA for the fifth time. Previously in 2018 and 2019, the group were awarded for the ‘Biggest Fans’ category. Following on, in 2020, BTS were awarded in four categories: 'Best Song', 'Biggest Fans', 'Best Group' and 'Best Virtual Live.’
In 2021, the group swept off the awards again in four categories including: 'Best Pop', 'Best K-Pop', 'Best Group' and 'Biggest Fans.’ The hopes are high for 2022!
The ‘2022 MTV EMA’ will be held on October 13th at the PSD Bank Dome in Dusseldorf, Germany.
