On October 20th, BTS’ Jin unveiled a poster for his debut solo single 'The Astronaut' on Instagram. The simple black poster with white speckles revealed that ‘The Astronaut’ is a collaboration with British band Coldplay.
Earlier on October 15th, BTS performed at the 2030 Busan World Expo and after the concert, Jin had hinted that the new single was in collaboration with “an artist I love very much.”
Soon after the official reveal that this loved artist was Coldplay, global fans are ecstatic and thrilled, especially as their last collaboration for ‘My Universe’ was such a success.
The official drop of Jin’s new single ‘The Astronaut’, co-written with Coldplay, will be released on October 28th at 13:00 (KST). Until then, various teasers will be unveiled sequentially so stay in tune!
