BTS’ Jin (full name Kim Seok-Jin) has confirmed enlistment on December 13th.
On December 6th, Big Hit Music announced on Weverse, “Jin will be enlisted to fulfill his military service obligations."
It has been reported that no separate official events will be held to wave off the star. The agency also added to refrain from visiting on the day by saying, “The entrance ceremony at the recruit training base camp is a place where many soldiers and their families come together. We ask that you refrain from visiting the site to prevent any accidents that could be caused by congestion at the site.” The statement ended by saying, “We ask that your well wishes for Jin are made with your hearts. Please support and encourage Jin until his service is done, and wish for him to return in good health.”
Last month, Jin also wrote to fans personally saying, “My ARMYs, please refrain from coming to the training camp. There will be many other people on the day besides me, so the site can get very crowded and dangerous.
Jin will enlist at the 5th Division Recruit Training Center in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi-do at 14:00 (KST) on December 13th. After five weeks of training, he will be deployed to a designated unit to serve his military service.
