On December 7th, TVING's new series 'Island' released images of Cha Eun-Woo on set.
'Island' is a fantasy drama based on a webtoon which is set in Jeju Island and tells the story of characters who are destined to fight the evil monsters living on the Island.
Directed by Bae Jong who has previously made a huge hit with films such as 'Welcome to Dongmakgol' and 'Fabricated City', the anticipation is high for another success.
Cha Eun-Woo plays the character of John, who is a Catholic priest that exorcises demons. He goes to Jeju Island after a calling from God and ends up battling against demons. In the released images, Cha Eun-Woo is dressed as a priest and shows off his immaculate features.
An official from the production team said, “Cha Eun-Woo surprised the staff during a shoot by expressing his character John with mature and professional acting skills.”
Keep a look out for 'Island' which will premiere on December 30th on local channels, and available to view on Amazon Prime Video.
