Twice will open the new year with a new album. Following the pre-released English single in January 2023, the group will return with a new mini-album in March.
On December 21st at midnight, JYP Entertainment released a surprise poster to promote Twice’s 2023 activities in the upcoming new year. The poster was titled ‘Our Youth’ and included two important dates: a pre-release English single in January and the release of a 12th mini-album in March.
This is a comeback for the girl group in seven months, marking a sequential release after ‘Between 1 & 2’, which was revealed in August earlier this year.
This year, Twice achieved spectacular results in the music industry, including a cumulative record on Spotify of reaching over 5.5 billion streams worldwide. The girl group also set a new record on the US Billboard chart, making it the third time in their career to reach Top 10 on Billboard 200 chart. This is the highest record ever for a K-pop girl group.
