TVING's new series 'Island' released four character posters just two days before the first broadcast. The posters included actors Kim Nam-Gil, Lee Da-Hee, Cha Eun-Woo and Sung Joon, synchronized with sketches from Island’s original artist Yang Kyung-Il himself. Photos of the actors and original cartoon characters have been cross-edited.

Firstly, Kim Nam-Gil plays the role of Van, who hunts and slaughters monsters. Due to his cursed immortal life, Van is destined to a tragic fate where he cannot get along with humans.

Lee Da-Hee plays the role of Won Mi-Ho, who is a third-generation conglomerate and teacher. Her sophisticated beauty and mesmerizing eyes capture the attention.

Cha Eun-Woo plays the role of John, who is a Catholic priest that exorcises demons. He goes to Jeju Island after a calling from God and ends up battling against demons. In the released images, Cha Eun-Woo is dressed as a priest and shows off his immaculate features.

Lastly, Sung Joon takes on the role of Kung Tan, who works with Van to defeat the monsters. With his rebellious eyes silver hair, the anticipation is high for his teamwork and role in the drama.

'Island' is a fantasy drama based on a webtoon which is set in Jeju Island and tells the story of characters who are destined to fight the evil monsters living on the Island.

Directed by Bae Jong who has previously made a huge hit with films such as 'Welcome to Dongmakgol' and 'Fabricated City', the anticipation is high for another success.

In the meantime, ‘Island’ will premiere on December 30th at noon (KST).
