On January 2^nd, YG Entertainment announced that Blackpink’s Jisoo will be making her solo debut within this year.

Since Blackpink’s debut in 2016, Jisoo is the last member to make her solo debut after Jennie, Lisa, and Rosé.

An official from YG Entertainment said "Jisoo is currently expediting her solo album recording. She has been busy with the world tour schedule since last year.”

Also the official said “She is working on album during her spare time to keep the promise with fans. See you soon with good news!”
