Netflix series ‘The Glory’ Part 1 is going viral in just three days after its release.
'The Glory' is centered around a woman who was shaken and hurt by violence in her childhood, and risks her whole life to get her revenge on those who ruined her early life. After its official release on December 30th, the series is receiving explosive responses globally.
According to the Netflix TOP 10 website (top10.netflix.com), as of January 4th, ‘The Glory’ recorded 25.41 million hours of viewings within just three days of its release, making it 3rd in the Netflix Global TOP 10 TV (non-English) category. In the Netflix Global TOP 10 TV (non-English) category, ‘The Glory’ was listed in the Top 10 in 19 countries, including Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Kuwait, Singapore, Morocco and Hong Kong.
An official from Forbes said, “Song Hye-Kyo effectively expresses the wounds of a distressed character through subtle acting. In an instance, viewers are engaged in Moon Dong-Eun’s way of revenge.”
South China Morning Post added, “The fascinating mise-en-scène of the series and the elegant script from Kim Eun-Sook is portrayed through Dong-Eun’s lyrical narration, is like the icing on the cake.”
