On January 4th, Got the Beat released a teaser image of Girls’ Generation Taeyeon and Aespa’s Karina standing boldly together. Got the Beat is a super group of SM Entertainment’s female artists that was formed in 2022, featuring BoA, Aespa’s Winter and Karina, Red Velvet’s Seulgi and Wendy as well as Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon and Hyoyeon.
Got the Beat announced that they will be releasing a new single ‘Stamp On It’ at 18:00 (KST) on January 16th, which includes a track list of six songs.
The title track, ‘Stamp On It’, is an R&B genre with a dance tempo, featuring a groovy piano melody and punchy bass. The lyrics portray a story about survival to reach to the top in a harsh competition.
Got the Beat revealed a special performance of ‘Stamp On It’ on January 1st 2023 for the first time at 'SM Town Live 2023: SMCU Palace @ Wilderness.’
