On January 13th, Elle Man magazine released photoshoot images of footballer Cho Gue-Sung.
After the photoshoot, in a close-up interview, the footballer expressed his passion for football. He said, “I want to excel in football because after all, this is my job and what I should be good at.” When asked about the most unexpected and surprising element after the World Cup finished, he said, “I am absorbing in the large-scale attention I am receiving after the World Cup, as well as enjoying the various opportunities such as this photoshoot with Elle.”
Then Cho Gue-Sung added, “I started football in the second tier of K-League so I have always asked fans to support Korean football more. The more the Korean football is loved and supported, the more the culture will develop.” He continued, “I want to encourage people to come to the stadium to watch a live match which will give the opportunity to reveal just how hard all the players work and run.”
He ended by saying, “once you come to see a live match, it will want to make you go again.”
With regards to how he would express his personality, Cho replied, “as a football player, my strength is my diligence and on a personal level, my strength is honesty.”
