Surpassed 1.3 billion views

YouTube views of the "MIC Drop" music video, which was released on Hive Labels' official YouTube channel on November 24, 2017, exceeded 1.3 billion views at 4:01 p.m. on the 31st. Following the 1.2 billion views in June last year, it added 100 million views in about seven months. As a result, 'MIC Drop' became BTS's fourth music video with 1.3 billion views.

The song was reborn as an electro trap different from the original song by adding DJ Steve Aoki's remix to the song "MIC Drop" in "LOVE YOURSELF 'Her'" released in September 2017. The song, which entered No. 28 on the U.S. Billboard main single chart "Hot 100" as soon as it was released, gained popularity enough to be on the chart for 10 consecutive weeks.
