On February 2nd, a teaser for ‘Jeomchelin Guide’ (literal translation) was released on Mystic TV YouTube channel.
The teaser reveals a fortune teller saying to Seo Ji-Soo, a former member of Lovelyz, that “gossip will follow a lot.”
Seo Ji-Soo becomes startled.
The fortune teller continues, “Even though you were not the culprit, everybody pointed fingers at you. How did you cope back. In 2015, 2016 and 2017? How did you live even though it was so unfair?”
Seo Ji-Soo tears up.
The fortune teller added, “I do not know if it is just a mere grudge or if it becomes beyond that but my visionary grandma just keeps saying it is too unfair.”
Seo Ji-Soo, who debuted with girl group Lovelyz in 2014, was entangled in malicious rumors when she was an active member. One of the rumors that spread was regarding Seo Ji-Soo’s gender identity, with false facts about the star coming out as a lesbian before her debut. In addition, spiteful rumors of Seo Ji-Soo distributing sex photos added to the rumor controversy.
In response to this, Seo Ji-Soo's agency took legal action and the case was closed by indicting an anonymous A and B, who were found guilty of leading the spread of rumors.
