It has been revealed that actor Yoo Ah-In was investigated by the police for habitual use of propofol, a psychotropic drug.
In a press statement released late at night on February 8th, Yoo Ah-In’s agency UAA announced that the actor had recently undergone investigation by the police with allegations of illegal use of propofol.
The agency continued to state, "We are actively cooperating with all investigations related to this, and we will explain any parts that are of issue. We apologize for causing concerns."
The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency summoned and investigated Yoo Ah-In on February 6th for violating the Narcotics Control Act. The police have commissioned for an evaluation of Yoo Ah-In’s hair to the National Institute of Scientific Investigation to check whether he habitually used the drug.
