On February 23rd, fashion magazine GQ Korea released magazine photoshoots with actor Song Joong-Ki, followed by a close-up interview for the March issue.
In the released photos, Song Joong-Ki is captured in various outfits, ranging from a Louis Vuitton denim ensemble, to a cropped knitted top and casual jeans, as well as a dandy purple suit ensemble.
In the interview that followed, Song Joong-Ki expressed his love for his now-wife Katy Louise Saunders and how she has made him become “a better person.”
The actor said, "If I had to explain what kind of a person Katy is, I would have to sit here all day long. With the limitations of time, I will try to keep it short. She is a true friend who offers a home for me with full trust, encouragement and reassurance.”
When asked about filming and taking on new roles, Song Joong-Ki said, “In the past, I have seen many actors who have changed their acting styles as they have aged. For myself, I do not want that, as I believe that your acting color should not change with age.”
Song Joong-Ki then briefly mentioned his plans for the rest of the year by saying, “This Spring will be the last Spring for us before our baby is here so I would like to go out on dates with Katy. A lot.”
Last year in December, Song Joong-Ki admitted to dating rumors with British actress Katy Louise Saunders. Soon after, on January 30th, Song Joong-Ki released a handwritten statement to announce the news of his marriage registration with Katy and that they were expecting a baby.
Although the due date of the baby has not yet been confirmed, rumors are that the baby will be due in August at the latest this year.
In the meantime, the couple were spotted at the airport on February 16th before departing for Hungary, as Song Joong-Ki was scheduled to film for the upcoming Netflix movie ‘Ro Ki Wan.’
