Actor Ok Taec-yeon announced his entry into Hollywood.
51K's side said on February 27th, "Ok Taec-yeon signed an exclusive contract with the U.S. major agency 'WME,' adding, "I ask for a lot of encouragement for future moves."
WME includes Quentin Tarantino, Ridley Scott, Hollywood actors Matthew McConaughey and Tom Holland. In Korea, directors Park Chan-wook and Bong Joon-ho and Bae Doo-na are working together.
Ok Taec-yeon said, "I'm excited and happy to take on a new challenge," and added, "I talked a lot with the agency. "I think it's a good opportunity to learn a lot," he said.
He added, "It will not be easy to try new things, but I will try to show you another side of me on a wider stage."
Ok Taec-yeon has expanded his career as an actor through various works such as tvN's "Vincenzo," "Secret Royal Inspector & Joy," "Blind," and the movie "Hansan: Rising Dragon."
Meanwhile, on the 11th of next month, he was invited to represent Korea at the official event of the '2023 GQ Suit Walk' in Taiwan. In commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the event, he will be the main guest.
