Mino, a member of popular idol WINNER, announced that he will serve as a substitute for social service.

On March 2, an official from YG Entertainment said, "From March 24, Mino will begin his alternative service as a social service worker."

There will be no separate on-site event to prevent safety accidents caused by congestion,said. "We ask for warm encouragement so that  Mino can fulfill his national defense obligations and return healthy."

It is a service system for those who have been determined to be able to serve in active service among those who are obligated to serve in the military, but have not been determined to be eligible for active service due to their physical and mental health.

The reason for  Mino's alternative service as a social service worker is unknown.

Last year,  Mino confessed to the diagnosis of panic disorder and bipolar disorder.

Appearing on Channel A's 'Oh Eun-young's golden clinic', he said, "I have had panic symptoms since the end of 2017. I went to the clinic several times because I felt like I was going to die. He confessed that he was diagnosed with panic disorder and bipolar disorder and was prescribed medicine.

"If I didn't work, life felt like a tragedy. I think it's too hard to be alone at home. I don't depend on my family, he said. "Somehow, my family is the most important, but I don't think it's like a nest where I can rest as much as I want."

In the past, he also complained of insomnia, saying he was drowsy all day, but fortunately, he reportedly treated insomnia.
