Actors Kim Soo-hyun and Song Ji-hyo were selected as exemplary taxpayers. 

The Ministry of Strategy and Finance and the National Tax Service held the 57th Taxpayer's Day ceremony at the COEX Convention Center on March 3.  invited people of merit who contributed to sincere tax payment and tax cooperation.

The President of Yoon Suk Yeol attended the event. It is the first time in 53 years that the president attended the Taxpayer's Day ceremony. Commendations and medals were awarded to exemplary taxpayers and tax cooperators.

Kim Soo-hyun and Song Ji-hyo were recognized for their sincere tax payment. The two were named presidential commendations.Also be appointed as an ambassador for the National Tax Service this year.

Taxpayer's Day was established in 1967 to thank the people for their sincere tax payment and tax cooperation. This event was held as the first face-to-face event since the outbreak of COVID-19. 

The NTS model taxpayer receives special tax exemptions. Benefits such as postponement of tax audit, selection of period of regular investigation, and exemption of tax guarantee will be given.
