Actress Han So-Hee canceled her “no more drinking” declaration after being selected as an exclusive model of soju.
On March 3rd, Lotte Chilsung Beverage announced that they had selected Han So-Hee to become the representative for their soju brand, ‘Chum-Churum.’ Being a soju model is iconic for stars in Korea, often related to a significant milestone that can only be achieved as a successful artist.
An official from Lotte Chilsung explained, “We decided that Han So-Hee is the perfect model for our soju ‘Chum-Churum’, based on her popularity and immense fandom, which the actress actively interacts with on Instagram.” The official continued, "Han So-Hee's free-spirited vibes match well with our soju brand.”
Earlier this year in late January, during the lunar new year holiday, the actress uploaded photos of herself drunk and lying on the floor outdoors. At the time of the post, Han So-Hee declared that she would never drink again, but in just a few weeks, she has ironically become the face of Korea’s representative soju brand.
Together with the announcement, Han So-Hee uploaded a new post on her Instagram with the caption “I cancel what I said.”
In response, fans commented by saying, "You're cute", "Still, you managed to go without alcohol for over a month” and “I really want to be friends with you–you seem like the most fun friend anyone could ask for.”
In the meantime, the upcoming Netflix series 'Kyeongseong Creature’ is soon to be released, where Han So-Hee plays the female lead role.
