Stray Kids hit Japan ... "No.1 on major Oricon charts"

Stray Kids proved popular in Japan. It reached the top of major Oricon charts. 

According to the latest Oricon chart, Stray Kids topped the weekly album rankings with their first Japanese  album,‘The Sound’.

Also active on the monthly chart. "The Sound" entered the top of the Oricon February monthly album rankings. Compared to the second-place album, it recorded sales more than four times higher.


"The Sound" is Stray Kids' first Japanese album released on the 22nd of last month. All 10 songs on the album, including the title track, are all Japanese songs.

As soon as it was released, it swept the  charts. It topped the Oricon Daily Album Ranking and the Billboard Japan Weekly Top Albums Sales Chart and Hot Albums Chart. 

The  Kyocera dome performance was also successful. Stray Kids held their second world tour "Maniac" encore performance at Kyocera Dome Osaka from February 25 to 26.

A total of 130,000 stay (fandom name) were invited to Japanese performances, including Tokyo performances. About 250,000 people watched the stage, including fans who watched it online. 

Meanwhile, Stray Kids are set to tour North America. The performance will continue at the BMO stadium (Banc of California Stadium) in Los Angeles from March 31.
