NewJeans, Record to the U.S. Billboard…The longest period among K-pop female artists

NewJeans proved its unrivaled global power. they set a new record for a K-pop female artist on the U.S. Billboard chart. 

Billboard released its latest chart on March 14 (local time).

NewJeans ranked 101st in the "Global 200" with their debut song "Hype boy."

Global 200 is one of Billboard's major charts. It ranks the most popular songs based on streaming and music sales (downloads) collected from more than 200 regions around the world, including the United States. 

This marks the 31st week in a row for NewJeans to hit the charts. It entered the market for the first time last year (August 20th), and has been steadily gaining popularity since reaching 62nd place.

It's a meaningful record as a rookie. This is the longest period among K-pop female artists in this part. NewJeans has proven their presence as a global rising star. 

Currently, "Ditto" and "OMG" are popularity of "OMG" is also hot. During the same period, it ranked 19th and 38th in the "Global 200," respectively. Even two months after its release, it is gaining huge popularity among domestic and foreign fans.
