On March 28th, US Billboard released rankings for their latest charts (as of April 1st). Jimin entered the main chart with his first solo album ‘Face.’
‘Set Me Free Part 2’ entered the ‘Hot 100’ main single chart at #30. This ranking marks the second time for Jimin to enter Billboard charts. In addition to this, the track took #1 on the ‘Digital Song Sales’ and ‘World Digital Song Sales’ charts.
Also, ‘Set Me Free Part 2’ ranked 5th on ‘Global (excluding the US)’ and 8th on ‘Global 200’, showing Jimin’s extraordinary potential as a soloist.
In particular, Jimin's solo songs including 'Promise' ranked 3rd, 'Filter' ranked 5th and 'Christmas Love' ranked 11th in the 'World Digital Song Sales' chart.
As a group, BTS is still running strong with their album power. Their anthology album ‘Proof’ ranked 195th on ‘Billboard 200’, which makes it 41 consecutive weeks that the album has charted in.
Additionally, solo work from the group is running strong. Leader RM’s first official solo album 'Indigo' ranked 13th on 'World Album' charts and stayed on the charts for 16 consecutive weeks.
J-Hope’s solo album ‘On the Street’ ranked 5th on the ‘Rap Digital Song Sales’ chart, 6th on the ‘R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales’ chart and 38th on the ‘Digital Song Sales’ chart. Lastly, Jin’s first solo single ‘The Astronaut’ is on the long run ranking 6th on the ‘World Digital Song Sales’ chart.
