On April 7th, Lotte Chilsung announced that An Yu-Jin has been selected as the model for their new alcoholic drink, Lemon Gin. A TV commercial was released, which emphasizes the freshness of the beverage which is made from fresh lemons.
In the commercial, An Yu-Jin appears in a white dress and poses with a yellow lemon, expressing the drink’s refreshing qualities. Her lively and lovely personality matches the drink’s freshness and carbonation, making the singer the perfect fit for the drink.
As a popular idol, An Yu-Jin being selected as the main model highlights her influence and popularity amongst the younger generation. A representative from Lotte Chilsung said, “we selected An Yu-Jin because her image well matches the message and taste of our new alcoholic drink.” Lotte Chilsung hope to attract young consumers through An Yu-Jin’s popularity in the music and entertainment industry.
