Recent reports have claimed that singer and actress IU received 500 million KRW per episode for her role in the drama ‘You Did Good’ (working title).

However, both IU and the production company Pan Entertainment have denied these rumors, naming them not true.

On April 6th, a media source reported, "IU received 500 million KRW per episode for her role in ‘You Did Good’, which is the highest amount amongst any actress in Korea." 

The report went on to state that the previously highest paid actresses were Jeon Ji-Hyun, who received 200 million KRW per episode for her role in ‘Mount Jiri’ and Song Hye-Kyo, who received 200 million KRW per episode for ‘The Glory.’

However, these claims have been strongly dismissed and refused by officials in the industry.
