On April 18th, IVE featured as guests on JTBC’s ‘Knowing Bros’ entertainment show. During the talk, Kang Ho-Dong brought up the topic of the ‘bodyguard incident’ and member Jang Won-Young reacted surprised asking him how he had heard about it.
Jang Won-Young re-told a funny incident that had happened with her bodyguard.
She explained, "There were fans and reporters at the airport, so I posed for them. I wanted to stop posing, but I happened to make eye contact with the bodyguard who was in front of me.”
The scene was captured on video and shared online at the time.
In the video, Jang Won-Young was captured striking cute poses such as making a heart with her hand and holding a ‘V’ pose. At one point, a bodyguard looked back at her and a startled Jang Won-Young avoided eye contact immediately. One fan commented by saying, “she looks like a daughter who got caught making a TikTok video by her Dad.”
Jang Won-Young added, “I want to tell the bodyguard about the comments and laugh about it together next time.”
In the meantime, IVE released their first full-length album ‘I’VE IVE’ on April 10th and sold out over a million copies in just days after its release.
