BLACKPINK appeared in the ‘Carpool Karaoke’ segment of ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden’ (The James Corden Show).

BLACKPINK appeared as a guest in the ‘Carpool Karaoke: Series’ section of CBS' ‘The James Corden Show’ on April 20. 

In this show, guests, including popular singers, board a car driven by James Corden and talk about various things.

James Corden drove around Los Angeles in the U.S. with BLACKPINK members such as Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa in his car.

BLACKPINK had a two-day world tour ‘BORN PINK WORLD TOUR’ in Tokyo, Japan.

In response, James Corden asked how many people did you play to in Tokyo "We performed in front of 110,000 people", Rosé said, drawing a surprise.

The first people who chose ‘Pink Venom’ sang excitedly in the car.

In particular, James Corden surprised the members by performing Lisa and Jennie rap parts without interruption.

James Corden asked questions related to the formation of the group, saying, "Is there a group camp or something?"

Jennie said, "There is a training system. And they call us trainees".

The members said, "I have been there for about five to six years", adding, "We learn dance, singing, and language' , "In the case of dance, I learn various genres such as popping and krumping dance," she explained.

When asked when she came to Korea from Australia, Rosé replied, "I came to Korea at the age of 16, and Lisa came at the age of 14".

Lisa said, "At that time, I was a baby. "I didn't even know how to speak Korean," she confessed.

Rosé also explained the time when she came to Korea.

She said, "All my friends asked me, 'Where are you going?' And I didn't know how to explain this”.

In response,Rosé explained to her friends, "It's like an acting school, but it's about learning something related to music," but they still didn't understand.

Rosé said to her friends who didn't understand, "Wait, and see I'll show you"

The BLACKPINK members and James Corden, who were listening to this, were also impressed.

Members who came to Korea from childhood and experienced their trainee days.

Asked if she was homesick, Jennie replied, “It is so intense where we kind of forget that we were missing some part of our lives”.

She said, "I couldn't think of home because it was repeated every day and every week to take different tests and film different videos. I just wanted to survive", she said.

On this day, James Corden talked about various things with BLACKPINK.

We couldn't leave out the song. James Corden surprised BLACKPINK by singing a series of hit songs such as ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ and ‘How You Like That’.
