On April 24th, Enhypen announced their comeback. On their official website, an announcement was released stating, "Enhypen will release their mini 4th album 'Dark Blood' on May 22nd at 18:00 (KST).”
A trailer clip was also unveiled which showed black ink spreading across white paper, spanning out to show a blurry logo, to craft an intense and epic atmosphere. An official from the agency said, “Enhypen will convey their heartfelt messages through various concepts. Look out for an album with high audio-visual completion."
Previously, Enhypen has built their musical identity through previous releases including ‘Border: Carnival’, ‘Dimension: Answer’ and ‘Manifesto: Day 1.’
