Girl group BLACKPINK earned an astronomical income of 100 billion won from the two-month tour alone. As a one group tour, it became the world's highest-earning girl group.
According to the results of the U.S. concert tour box office aggregator Touring Data, BLACKPINK surpassed the legendary Spice Girls with a single tour record.
BLACKPINK earned $78,485,210 (approximately 104.6 billion won) from 366,248 concert attendees at 26 shows. This surpassed the world tour revenue of Spice Girls, who held the previous record with $78.2 million (11 shows) in 2019.
BLACKPINK, which has been on tour since October last year, surpassed all of them only with performances in North America, Europe, and Korea.
BLACKPINK performed 26 times last year, and is performing 31 times this year, mainly in Asia.
The industry expects BLACKPINK's world tour ticket revenue to reach at least 300 billion won this year.
