Le Sserafim has set a new record with their new album ‘Unforgiven.’ On May 2nd, according to Hanteo Chart, Le Sserafim’s first full-length album ‘Unforgiven’ has sold out a total of 1,024,034 copies on the first day of its release. This record is higher than Blackpink’s record.
This is an exceptional record in Le Sserafim’s music career, with sales more than double their previous mini-album 'Antifragile', which sold out 400,000 copies.
The first day sales recorded over 1.02 million copies, which exceeds Blackpink’s sell-out record of 1.01 copies last year for their album ‘Born Pink.’
Attention is now turning into the final first-week sales statistics. Le Sserafim has already surpassed 1.38 million copies during pre-orders, therefore expectations are high for the finalized number of album copies sold.
The album's digital performance is also impressive, with 'Unforgiven' topping both domestic and international music charts. Currently, the album is 1st place on Bugs Music (as of 10:00 KST today) and has rocketed to top 3 on the Worldwide iTunes Song Chart (as of May 1st), globally ranking high across 14 countries.
In the meantime, Le Sserafim will be performing live stages on various domestic music shows including, Mnet's 'M Countdown', 'Music Bank', and 'Inkigayo', starting from May 4th.
