Fifty Fifty is also gaining huge popularity in the UK. It recorded the best performance among K-pop girl groups on the UK chart.
According to the UK official charts, Fifty Fifty was ranked No. 9 on the ‘Official Singles Chart Top 100’ (as of 5th to 11th) with their first single title song ‘Cupid’ Compared to last week, it has risen by as many as climbed 9 spots higher up on the chart.
It's been in the charts for six weeks. After entering 96th place (April 6) for the first time last month, it was ranked 61st (April 13), 34th (April 20), 26th (April 27), and 18th (May 4) showing a remarkable rise.
This is the first time that a K-pop girl group has reached the top 10 in the UK chart. The highest ranking was BLACKPINK. It was ranked 17th with the collaboration song ‘Sour Candy’ with Lady Gaga.
The official chart announced on the website, “Fifty Fifty is the first K-pop girl group to enter the top 10 in the UK single chart”, adding, "It ranked the highest with 'Cupid' ".
Meanwhile,Fifty Fifty is set to enter the U.S. Billboard chart for the seventh consecutive week. Week 6 ranked 41st.
