On May 9th, Billboard charts released an article that stated, "Seventeen has risen to 2nd place on the Billboard 200 main album chart with their mini 10th album 'FML’, following Morgan Wallen, who had been holding the top spot for 9 weeks.”
Seventeen have achieved their highest ranking on Billboard to date. The group’s previous highest achievement was reaching 4th place on Billboard 200 with their 4th repackaged album, 'SECTOR 17’, which was released in July last year.
The Billboard 200 chart ranks albums based on cumulative sales of physical albums, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA).
According to Billboard, Seventeen's physical album sales sold out 132,000 copies, and the streaming equivalent albums were calculated at 3,000 units.

'FML' is an album that aims to comfort the conflicts and struggles a youth may face. It carries messages of support and positivity, encouraging listeners to fight and overcome negative thoughts even in difficult situations.
Seventeen has set another record in their music career as they have become the only artist to sell over 3 million copies on the first day of release. The initial sales recorded selling out 4,552,140 copies.
Seventeen have also gained immense popularity in Japan, selling out over 552,000 copies of 'FML' in the first week alone. The album topped the Oricon Weekly Album ranking and the Weekly Digital Album ranking.
