On May 18^th, Big Planet Made Entertainment announced, "Ren is currently preparing for his solo debut album with the goal of releasing it next month."

Ren made his debut in the music industry as a member of NU'EST in 2012. The upcoming release will be his first solo album, which has excited fans world wide.

Ren will also soon be making his debut on screens in an upcoming drama titled ‘I Have Waited a Long Time for You’, which will broadcast in July.
