Rookie boy group 'ZEROBASEONE' (shortened as ZB1) has been named one of the “K-pop Boy Groups to watch in 2023” by The Grammy Awards.

On May 24th, Grammys released an article describing the group as a nine-member multinational ensemble that had emerged from Mnet’s reality competition 'Boys Planet.'

Despite not having officially made their debut yet, the boys already hold a promising future in the music industry. The article even stated that they will “inaugurate K-pop’s fifth generation.” The Grammys praised the group’s artistic sensibility and all-rounded abilities, stating that the members are capable of breathtaking performances. They also noted that ZEROBASEONE have captivated thousands of viewers every week on 'Boys Planet.'

In particular, they mentioned Chinese member Zhang Hao as a "Chinese-born music prodigy" who made history as the first foreigner to win a Korean survival show of this kind.

The Grammys expressed excitement by saying, "The story of ZB1 is yet to unfold, but let's see how many records go down before their debut."

ZB1 are reportedly preparing for their debut and are expected to make their official debut later this year.
