On May 30th, Entertainment Tonight (ET) released an in-depth interview session with Blackpink’s Jennie, Lily-Rose Depp and Troye Sivan, who were casted for the HBO drama ‘The Idol.’
The video captured a question-and-answer session.
During the interview, the MC mentioned other Blackpink members to Jennie. In response, Jennie said, "When we were filming 'The Idol' last year, we were in the middle of shooting the music video for 'Born Pink.’ When I was in LA for the shoot, the members phoned me every day to check in on me."
Jennie also proudly boasted the support other members gave her during the promotion of ‘The Idol.’
Jennie said, "Today, Jisoo sent me a text message saying, 'You look really pretty. I am happy for you.' We are a great family."
Recently, Jennie attended the world premiere screening of 'The Idol' at the 76th Cannes International Film Festival on May 22nd. 'The Idol' will be released officially on HBO in the upcoming days, on June 4th.
