OCN's hit drama series, 'The Uncanny Counter', is returning with its second season.
Whether or not if lead actor Jo Byeong-Kyu can overcome the recent school bullying controversies and achieve another success once again is the question.
On June 8th, the production team of ‘The Uncanny Counter Season 2’ revealed photos taken from the script rehearsals taken place, ahead of the scheduled premiere broadcast in the second half of this year.
Based on the original webtoon series, 'The Uncanny Counter Season 2' is a dynamic supernatural hero story. Demon hunters called ‘counters’ come with armed new abilities to combat increasingly malicious demons on Earth.
The main cast of the 'The Uncanny Counter' series, which recorded the highest views in OCN's history and gained immense popularity, includes Jo Byeong-Kyu (as So-Mun), Yoo Jun-Sang (as Ga Mo-Tak), Kim Se-Jeong (as Do Ha-Na), Yeom Hye-Ran (as Choo Mae-Ok) and Ahn Suk-Hwan (as Choi Jang-mool). In addition, new additions of Jin Sun-Kyu (as Joo-Seok), Kang Ki-Young (as Pil-Gwang), Kim Hye-Yoon (as Gelly) and Yoo In-Soo (as Jeok-Bong) have joined, promising a more fun story.
At the script rehearsals, PD Yoo Sun-Dong said, "It feels so good. I am grateful to the ‘counters’ and the existing team for joining us, and I warmly welcome the new cast." Actor Yoo Jun-Sang raised expectations by expressing his desire to film until season 7.
A representative from the production team said, "With the addition of ‘counters’ armed with new abilities, a fierce battle between the powered up ‘counters’ and malicious demons will unfold. Compared to the first season, telekinesis and exhilarating action sequences have been added for a world scale. The excitement will reach its peak for Season 2.”
