On June 13th, BTS’ V uploaded a video letter for ARMY fans, in celebration of BTS’ 10th anniversary since debut. The video included clips of other members with additional short captions along the way which read, “it has already been 10 years since our debut. Thank you members for being healthy and for all the wonderful memories together. Thank you to all of our ARMY fans – you are our strength. Wishing you all good health and happiness.
V expressed his affection by saying, “I purple you” which is commonly used amongst BTS members and their fans to mean “I love you.’
The video on Instagram story showcased various memories spanning over a decade, including behind-the-scene music video shots to dance practices, meal times and silly moments.
V added at the end of his story, "There are too many videos so I will release more on our 20th anniversary. Goodbye."
Fans reacted by saying, "This video is beautiful and shows his sincerity", "cannot wait for the 20th anniversary" and "this is a true gift to fans.”
In celebration of their 10th anniversary since debut, other BTS members have expressed their gratitude to fans in their own ways through hand-written letters and videos.
